Resist-A-BallŪ C.O.R.E. Professional Courses - 4 Hours

Resist-A-Ball® C.O.R.E. Instructor - Level ONE
This course is designed to teach participants the benefits of stability ball training and to offer practical, hands-on  instruction for the strength and flexibility exercises recommended for beginning a stability ball program. Participants will learn the proper execution, progression, teaching techniques, and cueing for the selected exercises. This course also includes stability ball strength exercises using elastic tubing for added resistance. No prior experience is necessary to attend this workshop. This course is recommended as a prerequisite for all other Resist-A-Ball® training courses.

Resist-A-Ball® C.O.R.E. Instructor - Level TWO
This practical, hands-on workshop includes an in-depth analysis of the more challenging Resist-A-Ball® strength exercises. Participants will experience how the Resist-A-Ball® becomes a unique, portable, and dynamic bench with the addition of free weights. Learn how to replace traditional exercises with new motor-learning strength challenges. The course includes a variety of stretches to complement more advanced strength exercises. Move up to the next level in Resist-A-Ball® training with exercises that require more core stabilization, strength, and balance. Resist-A-Ball® C.O.R.E. Instructor Level ONE or experience in stability ball training is recommended as a prerequisite to this course.

YOGA With Resist-A-Ball®
Learn to enhance the mind and body benefits of yoga with Resist-A-Ball®. This course teaches instructors to develop classes that blend Resist-A-Ball® training with classic Hatha yoga postures. Through practical training you’ll quickly discover how the ball is the perfect vehicle for introducing yoga to less fit or in experienced members. Learn how to use the Resist-A-Ball to deepen your yoga practice with the added benefit of spinal traction and balance challenges. Custom fit your yoga experience as you reach and roll into new and appropriate positions for YOUR level. The exercises promote flexibility and increase strength while letting participants experience yoga in a whole new light. The Yoga With Resist-A-Ball® workshop provides the tools you need to create an invigorating workout that strengthens the body and soothes the mind. Each participant receives the Yoga with Resist-A-Ball® manual.

PILATES With Resist-A-Ball®

PRENATAL With Resist-A-Ball® Specialty Workshop
This hands-on course provides practical instruction on strength and flexibility exercises that are appropriate for the prenatal client. The improved posture, balance, coordination, and body awareness associated with stability ball training can mitigate the effects of pregnancy-related anatomical changes. You’ll gain clear understanding of the exercise guidelines and recommendations set by the ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology).  Screening techniques, physiological and musculoskeletal changes associated with pregnancy will also be reviewed.  This course is a must for personal trainers, group fitness instructors and club owners that want to draw a new market to their club or business. Each participant receives the Prenatal with Resist-A-Ball® manual.

Resist-A-Ball® C.O.R.E. Enthusiasts Courses – 2 Hours

Yoga with Resist-A-Ball
Learn to enhance the mind and body benefits of yoga with Resist-A-Ball. This course teaches instructors to develop classes that blend Resist-A-Ball training with classic Hatha yoga postures. Pilates with Resist-A-Ball
Learn to enhance the body-toning benefits of Pilates with Resist-A-Ball. You will learn a series of 34 mat-based Pilates exercises designed to sculpt a leaner, tighter, healthy body. The acquired controlled, non-impact movements work together to improve core strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. The added weight and balance challenge of the Resist-A-Ball adds a whole new dimension to Pilates training.

Prenatal with Resist-A-Ball
